Pore Vacuums

In my opinion, pore vacuums are kind of gimmicky, and the risks are not worth the reward. And "reward," I say lightly because pore vacuums are mildly effective at best. I also think there are more skin-friendly and effective ways to remove blackheads with products or professional treatments and extractions.

Also, I'd like to note that your skin is dehydrated, it will hold on to those blackheads for dear life, and no amount of vacuuming will get them to budge.

Plus, in the process, some major skin damage could occur along the way, like dilated blood vessels, which are permanent (unless treated by lasers), inflammation and sensitivity, or a cute little hickey/bruise. Because you are also sucking out a lot of the much need natural oils in the skin, it can also cause the skin to become dehydrated.

Exhibit A of a whole lot of no.
